Battery problems are not always caused by the battery
A vehicle that repeatedly loses power may have another electrical problem. A faulty alternator, parasitic drain, poor battery terminals, or damaged wiring can produce symptoms that look like a bad battery.
This is why testing the battery together with the charging system is important.
